Day #32 | Two New beginnings !

Today was the beginning of a new exciting chapter in the life journey of a fresh graduate! As I walked through the doors of SVENM, I could already feel a sense of purposefrom the creativity and the energy of the different meetings happening. Sonia had even brought a cake for my first day of work. I couldn’t have wished for a better welcome to the professional world! The cake was also shared in part with Noor as it was her last working day in the SVENM office.

We have collaborated here for my first blog post and her last. The following interview describes Noor's stay at SVENM and the different opportunities, projects and experience she gained, which left her highly motivated for the future as a young designer.

“At SVENM, I discovered that design is a broad field. I worked on different projects and some of them were new for me which contributed to gaining new knowledge. I now understand that interior design is not all about interior spaces and zones. It's a more comprehensive term that contains furniture, materials, graphics, photography and many other aspects.

If I want to talk about how SVENM prepared me for the future I won't finish, but here are the top 3 things I gained.

- I was introduced fully to professional life and learnt to work with others to deadline.

- I contributed to several design projects and really saw how broad the design sector is.

- I enjoyed meeting new people and seeing how connections in the industry function.

I gained so much this summer at SVENM!”
