Day #21 | What does it feel when you're the first one to arrive?

Today I arrived a bit early to the office, so I had to wait until everyone else came.

As Sonia always encourages us to benefit from our sketchbooks, I decided to walk around Alserkal Avenue to sketch and document some scenes in my sketchbook.

I tend to use photos for documentation, so it was a great opportunity to use sketching as a medium this time. To do so, I had to look deeply and see the different components of the buildings in a different way.

This is a level of detailed observation I don't achieve through the lens of my camera, plus as an exercise it made the moments waiting pass quickly.

I think once Sonia reads this she will do her best to arrive later in the coming days so I can sketch more!
