Day #8 | Giove: Rope Art?

Heyyyy! so today was a pretty calm day with a few tasks.

The day started off by working on the table leg and adding the final adjustments that need to happen in order for the steel guys to make the charmer leg! how exciting? Its like seeing your child come to life.. in this case your model on screen becomes a tangible leg.

After I was done with the leg I worked on the blog for a while, meanwhile Leen was working on some detailed plans and sections! Later on, she gave me a tutorial about how Archicad works as i will be working with that soon.

During the day, Sonia recieved some visitors, one of them was a beautiful lady name Ivana, who happened to be a jewelry designer. BUT! she is NOT your typical kind of jewelry designer with gems and sparkles; Ivana creates beautiful pieces using para-cord , a kind of rope and crochet!

And so, Ivana, being one of the guests invited to the ladies night that is taking place at SVEN|M on 15th June, a gathering meant for women in the creative industry is collaborating with us by hosting her workshop at the office. During the workshop, she will be demonstrating the process of how she makes her simple bracelets as well as involve all the other women in making their own little piece of art!

For this reason, Sonia and I are currently teaming up with Ivana to brainstorm ideas that would suit the display of the pieces she is selling. Meanwhile at the office, we are brainstorming more ideas about how to bring the whole event together including seating space and how the interior will function in the favor of the gathering.

Such an interesting project to be involved in! waiting on the steel manufacturers to show us the charmer they have created!
